Long time, no talk! Fortunately for you guys, TEAM 21 have refreshed their creative minds and we're back with a bang. Check out what we have in store for you this weekend as Autumn begins...

WHEN ALCOHOL WAS OUTLAWED, OUTLAWS BECAME KINGS.

Atlantic City came to Sydney for one night with the season one DVD launch of HBO's "Boardwalk Empire" at Twenty One.

Guests broke out their 1920's best as a salute to the show's leading man "Nucky" Thompson and his glamour girls and gangsters who ruled the East during the Prohibition Era. 

Among those resplendent in flapper dresses and gangster suits were former Australia's Next Top Model contestant, Maddy Huett and mentor Josh Flinn. Sydney Swans players Adam Goodes and Ted Richards made an appearance, as did X-Factor finalists Joel and Luke O'Dea. 

Themed cocktails and canapes from the era included Prohibition Punch and Atlantic Peach, while in true Atlantic City style "cigarette girls" served saltwater taffy at the end of the night.

Ciao, 2011

What a year it has been. Although 21 has only been open for three months, our venue was in the creative pipeline for a large portion of this year. The team at 21 would like to personally thank all of YOU, our incredible and ridiculously good looking patrons that have made 21 the roaring success it has become. Pat yourselves on the back, friends. Kids done good.

So as a small gesture of our appreciation, we've put together some tips to survive the next week of parties, events and alcoholic indulgence during the Christmas/New Years period...

1. When partying during the day, drink plenty of water as well. Failing that, drink more vodka. Vodka makes everything better.

2. Girls -  the streets of Sydney are no place for bare feet. If you can't wear them all day; don't wear them at all.

3. Boys - popped collar Polo's weren't okay five years ago, and they're even less okay today. Dapper up and invest in a business shirt. Your sex life will thank us.

4. Remember to Slip, Slop, Slap. Unless you want a tan, of course. In that situation, oil up and worship the Sun Gods like a champ.

5. If your questioning whether or not to send that 4am text to a certain babe/stud...don't question it. JUST DO IT! What's the worst that could happen? Well, perhaps an AVO and social ridicule, but take the chance anyway.

The entire team at 21 would like to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Here's to all the adventures that are on the horizon in 2012 - stay tuned!

Xzibit LIVE at 21

He came, he saw, he conquered.

Xzibit was a charming party animal if we've ever seen one. Traveling with an entourage of approximately 10 people, he stormed into our VIP booth on Saturday the 10th of September and set the scene for our biggest Saturday night to date. He even jumped behind the decks to drop a beat (or ten).

This Friday

We have a weekend full of fun approaching here at 21. With Friday night kicking off the countdown to the 2011 Summer of Love, and Sunday evening launching our 'Surf 2 City' night, with buses leaving from the infamous White Revolver in Bondi. Throw in a mix of international DJ talent, and a party team that would put Courtney Love and her entourage to shame, and you've got a whole lot of magic coming your way...
